Job Role: Commis I
• To assist in the preparation& service of food, prepare mis-en-place for the outlets asrequired.
• Adhere to Anantara foodpreparation and presentation guidelines to ensure consistentquality culinary offerings to our guests. Continually look torecommend improvements and additions to the Anantara presentationguidelines.
• To keep all working areas cleanand tidy to maintain hygienic surroundings.
•Maintain food safety & protection. All food in workingareas should be in compliance with food handling techniques,including dating, proper storage, rotation, etc. Maintain basicfood safety and sanitation practices.
• Takingresponsibility for looking after all hotel property andfacilities.
• Participating in departmentaltraining to improve departmental skills and hotel servicelevels.
• Maintaining and oversee adherence todepartmental checklists and cleaning schedules
• Assisting at events, banquets and other functions asrequired
• Adhering to all personal hygieneand grooming standards, fire safety rules and health &safety rules.
