Job Role: Production Engineer

Job Description:

• Experienceof working in Spunbond, Meltblown, SMS fabric productionlines.
• Experience in thermal cleaning formachine parts such as spin packs, spinnerets or melt-blown andspunbond dies.
• Responsible for productionplanning and manpower allocation.
• Responsiblefor daily manufacturing operations, control of wastage, meetingproduction targets, monitoring quality etc.
• Update production status on daily basis to ProductionManager.
• Ensure cost-effective, high qualityand timely delivery of products.
• Establish andenforce company policies and safety procedures forstaffs.
• Recommend process improvements toenhance production quality and capacity.
• Workwith Managers to analyze job orders and develop production tasksand schedule.
• Recommend changes in workflow,operations and equipment to maximize productionefficiency.

Desired CandidateProfile

• Engineering degree required.Preferably in Electronics.
• Minimum 3 - 8years’ supervisory experience in textiles, non-woven,and/or plastics manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturingtechnical discipline.
• Experience supportingand implementing advanced technologies (i.e. operations set-up, newproduct development, and process development).
• Computer skills required: MSOffice, Oracle, SPC programs,etc.
• Strong communication skills, written andverbal; ability to communicate effectively at all levels of theorganization.
• Proven leadership skills, andability to foster an environment of continual improvement andaccountability.
• Demonstrated knowledge ofStrategy Deployment and LEAN principles.
• Demonstrated ability to self-pace in book, web-base, andclassroom participation learning.
• Demonstratedability to motivate, train, and develop appropriate skill-sets formanufacturing supervision, manufacturing technical resources, andmanufacturing production associates.
• Six SigmaBlack Belt or Green Belt a plus.
• Ability to beflexible in assigned tasks, duties, schedules, locations, andtravel.
