Knowledge

• Professional Membership ofEngineering Council organisation preferred
• Degree related to architecture, engineering orconstruction desired.
• Specialist knowledge inthe implementation, use and development of Building InformationModeling (BIM), Computer Aided Design (CAD) and integrated ProjectDelivery (IPD).
• Working knowledge ofdata/information exchange protocols.
• Workingknowledge of relevant British and ISO industrystandards.
• Working knowledge of engineeringcontracts.
• Knowledge of IT and networkinfrastructure principles.
• Knowledge of riskmanagement principles.

Experience

• Preferably 5 years’ experience ofthe production and management of CAD data in a multi-disciplinaryenvironment;
• Working knowledge of BIMtechnologies
• Up-to-date and demonstrableknowledge of current engineering technology trends including BIMand IPD.
• Experience in understanding complexrequirements from projects and interpreting them to deliver aproblem definition.
• Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills, including the ability to writeprofessional reports for review and consideration by senior MottMacDonald staff.
