Job Role: Tax, Quality Assurance -AVP
Responsibilities Weseek a candidate for a full-time Director role within theQuality Assurance (QA) team. The primary responsibilities of thesuccessful candidate will be to support and enhance the riskmanagement framework across the Global International Tax Utilityteam, and the vendor teams that support them. This will involve:-Leading the Global ITU risk agenda and co-ordinating the globalteam to ensure timely compliance with centralised Operations Riskprogrammes.- Supporting and preparing the team for interactionwith, and review by, multiple internal and external partnersincluding Audit, Compliance and external consultants.- Inconjunction with the management team, develop and implement thestrategic Quality Assurance programme within ITU, creating anindependent monitoring and analysis function to assess the adequacyand effectiveness of processes, documentation and risk managementacross the Global team.- Overseeing month-end sub-ledger accountreconciliation to substantiate balances and identify remediationrequired.- Responsibility for day to day management of the QAteam.
Qualifications SkillsRequired - Ability to work collaborativelywith multiple teams, prioritise deliverables and gain buy-in fromstakeholders, in order to meet Operations wide deliverables.- Beable to provide clear information on risk, impact and resolutionthrough strong communication skills, displayed across all levelsand platforms.- Able to critically analyse processes anddocumentation, with a view to proposing enhancements andremediation work where necessary.- Competently able to challengethe status quo and present feedback and observations to seniormanagement.- Highly motivated, with a proven track record inleading, managing and delivering on team initiatives and projects,whether working alone or leading a team.- Effective peoplemanagement skills, including career development, coaching andtraining.
SkillsDesired - Awareness of Operational Riskprogrammes.- Advanced Excel/Powerpoint skills would be advantageousbut not essential.
