Job Description

Food andbeverage supervisors are generally responsible for all of thebusiness operations of a dining establishment. Duties typicallyinclude training, scheduling and managing employees, as well asoverseeing inventory, including food and beverages, supplies andother restaurant equipment. F& B Supervisor are alsoresponsible for resolving customer complaints regarding foodquality and service and making sure the business complies withhealth and food safety regulations. Responsible to verify all workschedules and follow proper documentation rules and policies andprocedures. Responsible for checking that all kitchens are cleanand all items are in their place. Responsible for making sure allcoolers that have food items are properly labeled and dated. In theabsence of Operations Manager, you are responsible any things whichneed to handle in operations. Ensures the safety, security ofemployees and guests and enforces health department rules andpolicies. Abides by laws, policies, and procedures pertaining tothe service and sale of alcoholic beverages. Promptly andprofessionally handles guest issues and communicates problems andconcerns to Department Manager. Supervisory responsibilitiesinclude: hiring, training, scheduling Assigning and directing workof employees assigned to the shift Appraising performance,rewarding and disciplining addressing complaints and resolvingproblems.
