Description:

Responsibilities:

• Based on the project site, monitorthe performance of the Design Consultant to ensure the Designcorrectness and completeness as well as compliance with the scopeof work requirements.

• Ensure that the Design Consultant(s) have considered theend user’s requirements as stated in the statement ofrequirement.

• Control andmanage the Senior Discipline Engineers of the Project ManagementTeam in respect of Design aspects.

• Evaluate and endorse the variation orders/concessionrequest submitted by the Design Consultant(s) for Client'sapproval.

• Attend allmeetings with Design Consultant(s), its sub-consultants andClient's Meetings.

• Review and comment on all drawings and documents submittedby the Design Consultant(s) and ensure the incorporation of allrevisions on all documents.

• Assist, monitor and ensure timely submittals of alldocuments from the Design Consultant(s) to all governmentdepartments until final necessary permits are obtained to proceedwith the works to final completion.

• Coordinate with regional / home office fortechnical support required to ensure the correctness andcompleteness of the Design.

• Review and report to Client all DesignConsultant(s)’ monthly reports, including areas ofconcern and recommended plans of actions.
