Job Role: Procurement Manager (UAENational)

Job Description

As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible formanaging, negotiating and guiding the process of contracts,logistics, procurement of materials to ensure cost-effectivepurchase of all materials and services whilst ensuring qualitycontrol and compliance with the company's policies andprocedures.

The ideal candidate shall haveextensive procurement, supplier management, contracting andtendering experience . Knowledge of vendor evaluation, vendorselection, markets and price trends is a must. Candidate must haveexcellent strategic and analytical thinking skills.
Responsibilities

• Create and implement procurement strategies
• Lead transformational activities to build procurementorganizational capabilities
• Manage thenegotiation of complex requests
• Monitorpurchase material/equipment process in the most cost-effectivemanner
• Manage the Procurement functionensuring that all procurement activities are completed in a timelymanner
• Ensure that all contracts are draftedin accordance with the provisions of applicable laws andDaman's approved manual, policies and procedures
• Oversee the enlisting and retention of high qualitysuppliers
• Lead negotiations withvendors/suppliers on project procurement contracts

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Procurement,IT Procurement experience is preferred
• 5 yearsof experience in managerial role
• Bachelor's degree in any field
• Very good analytical, planning, forecasting, executionand problem solving skills
• Strong level ofcustomer service orientation and professionalism in allinteractions
• Able to manage a multi-culturalenvironment and promote teamwork
