Head of Support Services (VP) -Rail StrategicContribution:
- Contribute as a member of the Executive team to theoverall management and direction of the company, to ensure thatclear short, medium and longer-term goals and objectives areestablished, communicated and achieved to optimize business resultsand returns to shareholders
- Develop and gainagreement to the overall business strategy for the Support Servicesbusiness unit, and communicate and oversee implementation of thatstrategy
- Maintain a network of internal andexternal contacts to ensure has support to meet its overall goalsand overcome its challenges
- Direct thedevelopment and implementation of policies covering all areas ofresponsibility to ensure that all relevant procedural andlegislative requirements are fulfilled and to ensure efficient,effective and safe operations
Health, Safety,Environment:
- Provideleadership and direction to ensure all company safety, health andenvironment objectives are met or exceeded in coordination with theHSE Department
- Ensures that all safety andemergency plans relating to Support Services are prepared andimplemented successfully when needed
