Your newcompany is a large insurance company.

Your newrole as a Section Head - Branding &Communications will be responsible for the overall design andimplementation of branding and marketing communication campaigns tostrengthen and enhance the company's brand portfolio. Anoutline of some of the job duties are:


  • Monitor and oversee the strengthening and continueddevelopment of the brand which will involve working with thebranding team and agencies to develop marketing campaigns thatdeliver equity in the brand through efficient and effectivemarketing channels both new and existing
  • Conceptualise and manage new initiatives to enhance thebrand portfolio, and create new value propositions for the brandand line extensions
  • Oversee the brand presencein all physical and digital channels
  • Designcreative brand and tactical campaigns to support the sales functionin new markets
  • Manage brand identity andbranding guidelines and enforce adherence across the company andpartners


  • Manage thedevelopment and execution of marketing communication plansaccording to the desired business objectives
  • Manage marketing communication campaigns and ensurecreative concepts alignment to the brand guidelines


  • Oversee the implementation and monitoring of brand and/orproduct initiatives which includes:

-Marketing campaigns planning, execution and monitoring(ATL, BTL, Online, Retail)
-Post campaign / activityresearch to derive recommendations from results and keylearnings
-Development of sales and marketingcollateral

  • Work with Sales and Product Management teams to ensurestrategic partnerships and implement strategic plans for identifiedopportunities
  • Manage relationships withoutside vendors and suppliers of creative services, includingadvertising and public relations agencies, marketing researchfirms, media buyers, web designers, signage companies and specialtyvendors


What you'll need tosucceed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing orequivalent
  • Minimum 6 years of experience inMarketing, 3 years of which should be in a management orsupervisory position
  • Proven track record ofsuccessful Brand Management and Marketing Communicationcampaigns
  • Proven track record of projectdelivery in Marketing
  • Corporate experience ismandatory, agency experience will be a big plus
  • Good understanding of brand evaluationmethodologies
  • Good understanding mediaplanning methodologies
  • Knowledge of commercialmethods used for evaluating the performance of business activitiesin advertising, marketing and events
