Description:

• Analyze and consult logisticssoftware to determine and verify delivery schedules and maximizethe amount of product that gets to each customer along theroute
• Collaborate with sales professionals tounderstand customer needs and specific requirements, customizedelivery needs and provide sales people with tools like pricingsheets and product information and specs
• Communicate with customers to get feedback that can beused in improving processes and customer service; assist in solvingproblems and providing consulting assistance to create brandloyalty and lasting relationships
• Discussdistribution patterns, policies and product availability withdistributors to identify agreements and create contracts; negotiatewith distributors to find the ones that offer competitive pricingand high quality product or material
• Preparereports that include sales data, financial activity, performanceoutcomes, goal achievement and overall productivity to present toexecutive management
• Consult with otherdepartmental managers to determine sales, discounts or promotionsand verify that all sales people are familiar with the details ofwhat is being offered
• Participate in trainingand evaluating members of the sales team and providing helpfulfeedback concerning the achievement of personal and teamgoals
• Oversee general administrative workincluding planning meetings, making phone calls and distributingscheduling and job assignments
