Responsible forpreparation, execution and aftercare of Improvement Projects withinthe assigned work area. Working closely with the business unitmanagers define improvement plans and objectives that align to thecorporate strategy – the Operational Excellence Roadmap.Operational Excellence Manager is responsible to oversee and managecompany projects to ensure workflows and process improvements,drive key initiatives to implement costs savings and optimizationprojects

KeyResponsibilities:

Business Leadership

· Seek to improve all aspects of the currentprocesses by reviewing current methodology, provide information andrecommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing andcompleting action plans; implementing forecast accuracy; resolvingproblems; identifying trends; determining system improvements;implementing change.

· Monitormonthly performance and function KPIs to ensure the organizationobjectives in the areas of cost, efficiency, and compliance aremet.

· Responsible for preparation,execution and aftercare of Improvement Projects within the assignedwork area.

· Working closely with thebusiness unit managers define improvement plans and objectives thatalign to the corporate strategy – the OperationalExcellence Roadmap.

· Measureprogress and targeting of results from improvement projects againstthe Operational Excellence Roadmap.

·Mobilize commitment for change and enable the continuoussustainment of change initiatives.

·Develop matrix relationships to involve process experts and conductimprovement activities using problem-solving techniques such asbrainstorming, fishbone, 5 whys, FMEA, PFMEA.

· Develop new processes and workflows thatsupport revenue growth, allowing creating more value for theorganization.

· Review currentprocesses to identify issues, design and conduct analyses,synthesize conclusions into recommendations, and help to implementrequired changes to gain competitive advantage over thepeers.

· Implement consumer-valueoperations through balancing both highly efficient“volume” and highly agile“innovation” systems to capture economies ofscale.

· Identify businessopportunities, build and maintain successful relationships withthird party prospects and existing clients.

· Oversee day-to-day operation, monitoring andforecasting to better anticipate and limit risk.

· Conducting meetings with subordinates forreviewing progress and workflow, discussing their suggestions andtaking suitable actions accordingly.

· Preparing periodic reports with respect tothe activities and achievements to be submitted to the CEO to bereviewed.

StrategicLeadership

· Implementconsumer-value operations through balancing both highly efficient“volume” and highly agile“innovation” systems to capture economies ofscale.

· Identify businessopportunities, build and maintain successful relationships withthird party prospects and existing clients.

· Identify potential clients in the market andtarget business model that support company growthstrategy.

· Study, evaluate andcoordinate with stakeholders for all tender bidding steps to secureprofitable opportunities of the tender.

· Stay up to date on job knowledge byparticipating in educational opportunities, attending conferencesand workshops, reading professional publications, maintaining apersonal network and joining professional organizations.

· Identify trends and determine systemimprovements to achieve operational goals within theteam.

· Continually assess currentprocesses and their efficacy in saving costs.

· Take calculated risks to increaseprofitability and optimize cost.

People Leadership

· Coaching of change agents and management toensure the maximum positive impact of the project for JulpharStakeholders

· Deliver proactive andeffective communication related to improvementinitiatives.

· Collaborate withmultiple teams to determine requirements for proposals, andnegotiating suggested alterations to business contracts, eitherduring the bidding process or after selection.

· Maintain and promote a teamwork environmentwith effective and clear communication amongst co-workers

· Identifying training needs of subordinatesand evaluating the training outcomes in coordination with theconcerned employees in the HR and Admin Department

· Following-up employee affairs includingvacations, leaves …etc. in coordination with HR andAdmin Department.

· Conductingperformance appraisals for subordinates according to scheduledplans and recommending necessary actions as per the appliedpractices at the company.

Qualifications,

Key Experiences / Functional KnowledgeRequirements:

·Minimum 6-8 years of Experience, BSc Degree inEngineering/management; MBA is a plus.

· Previous experience in a similar role andwith experience in a Pharmaceutical/ Healthcare Industry ispreferred

· Project management skillsto manage the process of providing excellent operational service(efficient, effective and qualitative), turnaround, and continuousimprovement (LEAN, Value chain, QRM, Pareato, 5 Why’s,etc.).

· Knowledge in strategic andbusiness planning will be an advantage

· Must be experienced in managing complex andsensitive operational challenges.

·Adapt at identifying issues, driving to root cause and able tonegotiate solutions & solve problems

· Competent use of statistics related tobusiness improvement metrics and operational performance.

· Able to define problem statements andrequired outcomes based on cost benefit analysis linked to businessobjectives.

· Experience working withmatrixed, geographically distributed and functionally diverse workgroups is preferred.

· Proven abilityto build strong partnerships with the business, operations,technology and other key stakeholders is required.
