Outstanding Primary PE Teacher


Kings' School Al Barsha is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, and enthusiastic PE teacher to join our team in August 2023.

Requirements:


  • Holds a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE or equivalent;
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the Primary or Secondary level;
  • Energy, vigour, perseverance, stamina and resilience;
  • Able to teach consistently inspirational lessons and a track record of delivering outstanding results;
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences including students, parents, teachers, and associate staff;
  • Evidence of commitment to recent professional development relevant to this role;
  • Share ideas that will help to further the high profile of the department within the school;
  • Able to assist other coaches in the delivery of the sports program, specifically for swim for all age groups;
  • Proven track record of developing school Swim Squads and/or programmes;
  • ICT skills that reflect the impact of technology in today's classrooms;
  • A commitment to the extracurricular Opportunities programme;
  • Willingness to contribute to school life, and support school programs on health, fitness, and hygiene education;
  • A commitment to the wellbeing and pastoral care of all students within their care;
  • Able to use data to enhance learning outcomes;
  • Innovative, creative, and positive mindset.


Successful applicants will take up their position in
August 2023 and will be required to participate in a thorough induction programme.
