- Receiveinbound and outbound trucks utilizing a computerized system torecord the supplier identification data, quality data, and thetruck weights
- Inspect incoming loads to ensurequality wood specifications and recording the data for each loadreceived at the mill
- Provide support foron-going safety and housekeeping processes
- Workwith logging contractors and foresters to assist in correcting woodquality issues
- Maintain wood inventory levelinformation
- Report daily usages and inventoriesto accounting, wood and fiber supply, and millpersonnel
- Create and provide reports relativeto wood inventories, deliveries, and woodquality
- Maintaining strict adherence to safetyrules and regulations, including wearing safetyequipment
- Performing work in a hot, humid,cold, and noisy industrial environment
- Workingovertime, variable start/end times, weekends, and holidays asneeded
- High school diploma orGED
- Experience using a computer, to includetyping, sending emails, and using a mouse
- Experience reading a tapemeasure
- Experience tracking inventorylevels
- Experience with wood qualitycontrol
- Customer service and/or salesexperience
- Experience with MicrosoftOutlook/Excel/Word
- Experience creatingreports
- Experience using a scale to weightrucks
