Marketing Managers have to be '
digitally-first' in terms of their knowledge & experience as the entire Marcom landscape has shifted due to the digital evolution in the last 10 years

Knowledge/experience of mainstream ATL mediums are definitely important, but not necessarily a must-have.

In lieu of this shift in the marketing landscape, I would recommend that our new Marketing Manager fits into the following:


Essential Skillsets:


  • Intimate understanding of traditional & emerging digital marketing channels
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively & innovatively
  • Budget-management skills & proficiency
  • Analytical skills to forecast & identity trends & challenges
  • Sound knowledge of website analytics tools like Google Analytics, NetInsight, etc
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Up-to-date with latest trends and best practices in Digital marketing & measurement tools to evaluate ROIs
  • Professional judgment & discretion that comes from years of experience in the field

Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Develop strategies (thematic/tactical) to get a positive word out about our Company and drive qualified traffic - be it via B2B initiatives like Events & Exhibitions, etc or B2C initiatives like Organic/Paid Digital Campaigns, etc.
  • Deploy successful marcom campaigns from concept development to final implementation with a defined budget & timelines.
  • Experiment with a variety of organic & paid channels like content creation, content curation, PPC campaigns, social media marketing, lead generation campaigns, performance marketing campaigns, etc. for optimal results.
  • Build strategic business relationships and partner with key Industry players, agencies and vendors.
  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budgets on a quarterly & annual basis and keep the senior management updated.
  • Measure and report on the performances of marcom campaigns, gain market/consumer insights and assess the results against the goals.
  • Represent the marketing team to cross-functional groups within the organization like sales, graphic, product management & customer support.
  • Ensure proper nurturing & growth of the marketing team.

Salary:
AED15, AED20,000.00 per month
