Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Database Operator.

As a Database Operator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's database systems to ensure data accuracy, security, and accessibility.

You will work closely with our IT team and other departments to optimize database performance and support business operations.


Key Responsibilities:

Database Management: Manage and maintain databases to ensure data integrity, security, and availability. This includes data entry, data validation, and data cleaning tasks.

Data Entry and Maintenance: Input and update data in databases, including customer information, sales records, and inventory data. Perform regular data audits to identify and correct errors.

Database Security: Implement and enforce data security protocols to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access or breaches. Monitor database activity and perform regular security assessments.

Database Optimization: Optimize database performance by identifying and resolving issues related to speed, efficiency, and scalability. Collaborate with IT professionals to implement solutions and upgrades.

Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports and provide data analysis to support business decision-making. Extract and manipulate data to create custom reports and dashboards as needed.

Documentation and Training: Maintain thorough documentation of database procedures, configurations, and updates. Provide training and support to users on database usage and best practices.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in database management or a related role.
  • Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with cloudbased database solutions
  • ERP Next System Knowledge will bw adventage
