• Select and examine images, searchfor differences between healthy and pathological areas anddetermine if the scope of the exam should be extended based onpreliminary findings
• Present the sonograms andpreliminary findings to Physicians
• Complete theappropriate documentation and maintain patients' medicalrecords
• Maintains the sufficient inventory ofmaterial supplies and equipment for the performance ofduties
• Facilitate anatomy and pathology incross-sectional imaging to optimize scan protocols,and
• liaises with radiologists to arrangefurther imaging or tests
• Maintain safe andcompetent use of all radiology equipment, patient appliances andaids used in the department.
• Reporting anyincidents and equipment faults or deterioration to senior staff ina timely manner.
• Operate advanced software onspecialist radiological equipment e.g. Image reconstructions,quantifications and dynamic imaging
• Maintain aclean and tidy working environment. Including restocking ofsupplies for subsequent use and equipmentcleaning
• Assist Physicians and healthcare teamsduring invasive procedures.
• Maintain and cleanthe sonographic equipment
• Perform medicalprocedures, such as administering oxygen, taking vital signs andgiving emergency treatments
• Perform otherrelated radiography (special) procedures asrequired
• Evaluate and assessing Ultrasoundimages produced for acceptable quality, appropriateness, andcompleteness, and advising other staff whenrequired.

Requirements:

• Provenwork experience as a Sonographer or similarrole
• Department of Health (DOH) license withtitle as a Sonographer
• Minimum 2years' experience as a Sonographer or UltrasoundTechnician
• Strong technical, communication,interpersonal and patient service skills
• Theability to explain technical terms in a clear and understandableway
• Excellent eyesight and attention todetail
• Strong analytical, judgment anddecision-making skills
