We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Dubai.
This role requires a professional with expertise in Tally or Odoo accounting software, and a strong understanding of compliance requirements in the UAE.
The ideal candidate will have a valid visa to live and work in Dubai.Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, and utilities.
Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and report variances.
Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
Conduct month-end and year-end close processes.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process.
Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate, timely financial reports.
Implement and manage financial systems and software, with a preference for those proficient in Tally or Odoo.
Requirements:
Must possess a qualification as a Chartered Accountant.
Proven experience as a senior accountant, with significant expertise in Tally or Odoo.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial standards, and compliance requirements in the UAE.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
A CPA or equivalent qualification is preferred.Excellent analytical, decision-making, and management skills.
Proficient in financial data analysis and reporting.
Ability to mentor and lead a team.
Must have a valid visa to live and work in Dubai.
