    • Responsible for evaluating,planning, and determining the short and long term fleet requirementof the airline.
    • Conduct detail studies ofcandidate aircraft in areas of technical, performance, economic andfinancial analysis and make recommendations.Work with aircraftmanufacturers, aircraft owners, financiers, and third parties inthe negotiation and documentation processes for airplane purchase,leases, and selling.
    • Manage the evaluation ofnew aircraft types as part of the Airline's long-term planand strategic fleet development, contributing to the aircraftselection process with comparative analyses of interior layout andspecification definitions, aircraft performances and networkdeployment, aircraft weight and payload calculations and fleeteconomics.
    • Audit the development of contractedaircraft specifications prior to delivery and liaise with aircraftmanufacturers in matters relating to weight build-up, designcharacteristics and configurationrequirements.
    • Execute the strategic FleetDevelopment Plan and provide professional support on aircraftfinance and phase-out matters to enable a proactive and dynamicapproach to fleet turnover.
    • Evaluate strategicalternatives in network and product planning, such as aircraftredeployment scenarios, fleet mix and interior specifications.Suggest improvements in fleet operations in terms of weight savingsand performance enhancements to maximize cost efficiencies andrevenue potential.
    • Review route networkperformance in order to identify profitability issues and provideforewarning to the management, along with a thoroughly researchedrecommendation plan to improve the route profitability, andinfluence Commercial stakeholders, as required, for effectiveimplementation.
    • Research the competitivelandscape, including route network and product offering bycompetition, and highlight improvement areas for senior managementreview.
    • Leverage the industry contacts througheffective networking, in order to enhance the research quality andcritical information#Responsible for the airlines'airplanes phase-in and phase-out, long-term lease-in andlease-outs, airplane purchasing and selling

    The SuccessfulApplicant

    • Bachelor's degree inmechanical/aeronautical/aerospaceengineering
    • Minimum 10+ years'experience in Fleet Planning and Transactions OR relevantexperience with Leasing Company or OEM
    • Provenexperience in Airline fleet related role and working with crossfunctional teams.
