    As a member of School Operationssupport team the Manager Facilities and Infrastructure will beleading on providing schools with the required support to complywith all internal and external directives and regulations whilemaintaining consistency of all processes across the Charter Schoolcluster.

    The incumbent will continuously striveto exceed internal & external customer expectations whileembracing the Aldar Education core values.

    Toembody the values vision and ethos of Aldar Education and assistthe Senior Manager Operations in implementing process and policywhich will ensure high quality and successful outcomes.

    Main Duties:

    • To support the Senior Manager Operations in developing aservice culture across schools through effective training anddeploying quality assurance strategies aimed at improving theoverall performance of the Operations department in schools acrossthe Charter cluster.
    • To ensure schoolcompliance with contractual deliverables as per the ADEK contractand quality assuring submissions.

    Specific Duties:

    General Operations

    • To support the OM in developing andimplementing the schools CAPEX plan in line with overall strategyand prioritisation of spend.
    • To support theOM in quality assuring CAPEX requests prior to submission to ADEKand maintaining aligned formatting for consistency purposes.
    • To ensure external and internal systems areupdated with regards to licenses contracts and insurance policiesrelating to current facilities and assets in operation.
    • To support standalone KG schools within the Chartercluster (FSO specific) through structured meetings aimed atachieving the schools operational needs and ensuring ADEKdeliverables are met.
    • To be the focal pointfor ADEK for all matters related to Facilities and Infrastructureacross the Charter Cluster.
    • To develop anddeliver training plans for existing and new joiners with a focusedemphasis on third party contract management their deliverables andagreed KPIs.
    • Contribute to the recruitmentprofessional development appraisal and training of all Operations& Support Service staff ensuring that members of the teamundergo an individual development plan to help the school inbuilding a highperformance team.

    Finance Commercial & Procurement

    • To assist the SeniorManager Operations in quality assuring annual CAPEX submissions forthe cluster adhering to procurement policy throughout the capexprocess and ensure availability of post execution documentation.
    • To support in closing all open purchaseorders highlighted in the monthly MIS reports and ensure subsequentservices/goods are delivered as per the agreement with the awardedvendor.
    • To provide input on any costs relatedto compliance licensing training and procurement of additionalgoods/services.
    • To provide input on allvariation orders required by schools during project management andexecution.
    • Ensure Delegation of Authorityprocesses and procedures are followed at all times.

    Relationship & StakeholderManagement

    • Embrace andencourage the ethos and standards of excellence as defined in theAldar Education core values.
    • Support SeniorManager Operations in ensuring that assigned cluster is fullycompliant with local government authority regulations to safeguardagainst fines of any nature as a result of nonrenewal of contractsat school level.
    • Support Senior ManagerOperations in ensuring all internal and external audits areeffectively managed and that actions arising from such audits arecompleted in a timely and appropriate manner.
    • Understand the effects and implications of governmentpolicies legislation and directives developing effective strategiesfor current initiatives and longterm educational trends anddevelopments.

    Health& Safety Environment

    • To promote a positive and proactive health and safetyculture throughout the support service teams.
    • To support with environmental related aims and objectivesand ensuring that they are delivered with the required timelines.
    • To lead and support a culture of no hurt noharm through proactive and pragmatic riskbased decision making.
    • To promote and demonstrate a supportive andbusiness focussed approach to the management of risk with asolutionbased mentality..
    • To ensure adherenceto all relevant Service Guidelines and Policies developing andchallenging where necessary.
    • To drive andsupport the use of the Evotix system to ensure compliance in regardto incident management.
    • Ensure all health safety andenvironmental related inspections and audits are completed in linewith the Aldar Education safety management system using asupportive and coaching nature helping to remove barriers andpromoting improvements in standards through teamwork.

    REQUIREMENTS :

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelors (BCs) inbusiness related subject
    • Certificate ofSchool Business Management / Facilities Management / NEBOSH or IOSHpreferable.

    MinimumExperience:

    • At least 3years experience in a managerial position within an education orservice oriented industry

    Job Specific Knowledge & Skills:

    • Fluent Englishcommunication skills written and oral.
    • Attention to detail with diligent follow up and able toexecute in a timely manner.
