Procurement Executive

Job Overview
Looking for a Purchasing Executive for our Logistics Department.

As a Purchasing Executive, your duties and responsibilities include buying products, raw materials or services that are needed to maintain the smooth functioning of our operations.


Responsibilities
-
Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
  • Entering, recording, storing, or maintaining information in ERP.
  • All responsibility related to technical and commercial aspect responsible for Order placement timing, Demand alignment, and Material replenishment and Supplier performance.
  • Continuously monitoring, evaluating and improving supplier performance. Sourcing the most Affordable material for the Company's requirements on site.
  • Responsible for ordering products, services, and raw materials for the company or organization


Processing of Material Indents, Co-ordination with site team, BOQ/ Enquiries floating to suppliers, Taking Quotations from suppliers, negotiation and Material follow-ups.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Management or relevant field.
  • 13 years' experience in a Purchasing/Procurement
  • Proven track record of working as a Purchasing, Purchasing Agent or a similar role.
  • Understanding of purchasing management software such as ERP, etc.
  • Strong understanding of purchasing processes and policies.
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft office suite).
  • Ability to create reports and conduct a cost analysis.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Ability to accurately review the contracts.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Umm alQuwain City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
