Role & Responsibilities

  • Installing, maintaining, and configuring servers' hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Monitor system performance and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Troubleshooting systems problems, optimizing systems configurations, and implementing systems' upgrade
  • Provide technical support whenever needed.
  • Collaborate with other IT staff whenever needed.
  • Stay up to date with the latest systems' technologies and trends and recommend enhancements and improvements.
  • Familiar with Azure Cloud and Office 36
  • Familiar with Microsoft Exchange solutions (onpremises and cloudbased).
  • Create and maintain documentation of IT infrastructure.
  • Strong experience with VMware, and Hyper-V.
  • Strong Experience with backup solutions such as Networker, Veeam, and other backup systems.
  • Perform regular backups and restores.
  • Strong knowledge of servers operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.)
  • Administer and maintain active directory, DNS, and DHCP services.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in managing and configuring storage systems (such as IBM storage).
  • Managing, monitoring, and deploying patches / updates for relevant firmware and Operating Systems.
  • Antivirus & antimalware management including the deployment in endpoints and servers, monitoring, compliance, troubleshooting issues, conduct required systems upgrades and migrations, ensure antivirus agents and signatures are up to date, etc.
  • Experience with WSUS, SCCM and other monitoring and deployment tools.
  • Manage Active Directory services.
  • Manage File and printing services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in system administration and support.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with other IT staff.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Relevant certifications such as MCSE, Azure Cloud, etc.
