    Description

    Our clients is looking for a InvestmentAnalyst, you will provide investment analysis, accounting,reporting, and risk analysis support for managing the investmentportfolio. You will also support the UAE CEO in identifying policychanges as well as implementation and monitoring strategies.Primary duties include:

    • Conduct investment research andanalysis.
    • Develop and execute portfolio riskmanagement and attribution processes.
    • Preparereports such as the quarterly investment report, annual investmentreport and investment dashboards for senior management andInvestment Advisory Committee (IAC).
    • Monitorcapital markets and economic developments to assess changes thataffect the investment portfolio.
    • Prepare theinvestment and short-term borrowing sections for the Annual Reportand periodic financial statements.
    • Processmonthly accounting entries for treasury transactions including:investments, FX, and incomeallocations.
    • Reconcile general ledger withcustodian investment reports and perform varianceanalysis.
    • Monitor the credit quality ofinternally managed investments.
    • Providecoverage for the Treasury OperationsAdministrator.
    • Assist in the management of theinternally managed portfolio: selection, monitoring and reportingof internally managed assets.
    • Assist in themanagement of the externally managed portfolio: selection,monitoring and reporting of externally managedinvestments.
    • Assist in the total portfolioconstruction
    • Lead/manage financial and marketevaluations to complete the analysis of opportunities throughresearch, modeling, analysis, andpresentation.
    • Lead financial modeling, in-depthvaluation assessments and other quantitative analysis to evaluatefinancial risk, financing scenarios and overall economic benefit ofcomplex investments and business opportunities in a variety ofcommercial structures.
    • Support the developmentof project options through scenario analysis for consideration inbusiness case development.
    • Support thescreening and prioritizing of business opportunities for effectivepursuit considering financial growth targets and availableresources.
    • Manage and work with externalfinancial consultants and advisors on opportunityreview.
    • Conduct market, industry, andcompetitive research to evaluate macro-economic and industry trendsto support strategy and opportunitydevelopment.
    • Work collaboratively and crossfunctionally with various partner groups (e.g. businessdevelopment, finance, treasury, tax, accounting and legal) oncritical initiatives.
    • Analyze internalfinancial information and business performance to assist withoptimization of operating assets and existingcontracts.
    • Support corporate planning,forecasting and strategy as required.
    • Assistwith the preparation of internal and external presentationmaterials. Qualifications
    • A degree in Business,Finance or Accounting with a professional designation such asChartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Chartered FinancialAnalyst (CFA) plus at least 5 years relatedexperience.
    • A Financial Risk Management (FRM)designation or completion of an MBA Program is considered anasset.
    • Experience must include investmentresearch and analysis, financial market monitoring, accountinganalysis, reconciliations, and financialreporting.
    • Experience with corporate financial,investment, and capital market concepts.
    • Riskmanagement and portfolio attribution skills will also be consideredassets.
    • You have high attention to detail,integrity, and accuracy ofinformation.
