Facilities Team Lead


Role Summary


To manage the provision of successful and proactive Facilities Management services within Dubai Office, Abu Dhabi Office and RAKEZ (s) locations.


Responsibilities & Accountabilities
To deliver a highly efficient and safe service in roles assigned to them, which include but are not limited to:

  • Planning, supervising, and implementing all routine and reactive maintenance tasks within all of UAE Offices, warehouses, and company accommodation through the PPM schedule.
  • Providing maintenance assistance
  • Designing maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods.
  • Update monthly reports for maintenance including expenditure and materials.
  • Diagnosing breakdown problems.
  • Controlling maintenance tools, storerooms, and equipment.
  • Arranging procurement of maintenance consumables.
  • Work closely with landlord's maintenance contractors to identify and action any maintenance issues raised in the landlord areas of the building(s).
  • Assist with office moves, including fit outs, the dismantling and erection of partitions and movement and erection of furniture within the office environment.
  • Work closely for the HSE/QSE Team.
  • Liaising with and supervising external contractors working within the office environment.
  • Generally providing wide and varied assistance within Office Services when requested.
  • All fit out, modifications and maintenance are to be undertaken with strict compliance to the Company HSE policies.
  • Ensure that work placed risk assessments are undertaken prior to starting any associated works.
  • To conduct root cause analysis of users' issues
  • Overseeing and agreeing contracts and providers for services including security, parking, cleaning, catering, and IT
  • Supervising teams of staff including cleaning, maintenance, and security.
  • Provide support to HSE Team keep the office in good environment.
  • Organize with Landlord team in Civil Defence Mock drill

Lead Office Assistant Team in Dubai and Abu Dhabi office specific:

  • Manage the team tasked with delivering the office assistant areas of expertise:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of leased pantry always.
  • Liaise within team to manage daily serviced accommodation bookings, concerns, and issues.
  • Ensure daily consumables are available within the pantry each weekday morning.
  • Complete QSE related requirements as requested.
  • Responsible to report any accident or incident on company premises to supervisor and line manager.
  • Maintaining office equipment as needed.
  • Helping organize and maintain office common areas.
  • Greeting clients and visitors as needed.

Requirements:


  • Technical Competencies:_
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience
  • Good understanding and knowledge of best practice office/residential health and safety.
  • In depth knowledge of HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing systems.
  • Must poses good communication skills in written and spoken English.
  • Strong teamwork, loyalty, presence of mind and a polite and calm attitude.
  • Computer literate in MS Office
  • Word, Outlook, Excel.
  • Behavioural Competencies:_
  • Ensure the safety of staff and property is main objective each day.
  • Ability to relate and interact successfully with a multicultural workforce at all levels.
  • Good coordinating skills and high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Must be able to work independently with a proactive approach.
  • Able to assist after normal working hours (weekdays or weekends).
