To help us maintain our highstandards of service we are seeking an experienced and accomplishedLogistics Supervisor to drive both innovation and execution in ourbusy Transportation network.

Yourresponsibilities:
First and foremost supportthe overall daily management of operational duties. This will meandeputizing for the Operations Manager as and when required: youllstep in on their behalf where necessary.
You will beexpected to prioritize and continually improve the safety at thedelivery station. You will be supervising logistics assistantscoordinators and delivery associates to ensure that every shipmentis delivered meeting and exceeding the set operational KPIs.
You will be monitoring the coordinator and associateperformance and coaching them when needed partnering withsupporting departments to improve logistics processes andoperations communicating with our delivery service providers to setour expectations and raise the bar on quality on theirdeliverables.

You will be responsible forbriefing and monitoring the workload of all drivers and associates.Therefore youll maintain a keen eye for detail ensuring that alladministrative tasks are accurately and fully completed. Moreoveryou will measure and monitor overall workflows and daily metrics.This will enable you to assist the Operations Manager with trackingtrending and reporting on site performance on a regular basis.
In addition to your daytoday responsibilities you willalso help with training and mentoring new Associates ensuring thatthey are provided with the knowledge needed to successfully carryout their tasks. Further to this youll followup on and resolve anyprocessrelated issues as and when required.
You areexpected to be flexible to work in different shifts and to doovertime when needed.
Finally together with theOperations Manager you will sufficiently resource your functionfrom a personal standpoint. Resourcing in this context meansmultiple things: callouts for training needs absence andperformance management coaching and continuous monitoring ofdepartment productivity and many more.
