    Description


    •Roadmap definition and UX DesignStrategy: Develop and articulate a clear vision and digital designstrategy for user experience and user interface design that alignswith the organization's business goals and objectives. Therole holder owns the Digital Design roadmap catered to thee& Groups UAE business and covers Consumer portfolios– across both web andapp.


    •User Experience (UX) Design: TheDirector of Digital Design oversees the UX design process, ensuringthat user-centric design principles are applied to create seamlessand intuitive digital experiences. They collaborate with UXresearchers, product managers, and developers to translate userinsights into effective design solutions. The scope covers web,mobile responsive web , native APP and digital interfaces for alle& UAE entities.


    •Visual Designand Branding: They drive the visual design direction, ensuringconsistency with the organization's brand guidelines anddesign standards. They ensure that digital designs are visuallyappealing, engaging, and aligned with the overall brand identity todrive ROUX (return on UX)


    •UserResearch: Plan and conduct user research activities to gaininsights into user behaviors, needs, and preferences. Utilizeresearch findings to inform the design process and driveuser-centric decision-making. This enables distinct identity forconsumer entities like Etisalat and FIVE which cater for differentaudiences.


    •Design Innovation andEmerging Technologies: The Director of Digital Design keeps abreastof the latest design trends, emerging technologies, and industrybest practices. They explore innovative design approaches &technologies to enhance the digital competitiveness ofe&.


    •Usability Testing andIterative Design: Implement usability testing methodologies toevaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of design solutions.Gather feedback from users and iterate designs based on userinsights and testing results to continually improve the userexperience.


    •Design System andGuidelines: Establish and maintain a design system and guidelinesthat ensure consistency and cohesion across all digital productsand platforms. Promote design standards, style guides, and UIpattern libraries to streamline the design process and enhanceefficiency.


    •Accessibility andInclusivity: Advocate for accessibility and inclusivity in design,ensuring that digital products are usable by people withdisabilities and diverse user groups. Stay updated on accessibilityguidelines and industry standards to create inclusive userexperiences.


    •Leadership and TeamManagement: They lead and manage a team of digital designers,providing guidance, mentoring, and support. They ensure the teamhas the necessary skills, resources, and tools to deliverhigh-quality digital design solutions across Consumerportfolios


    •Collaboration andStakeholder Management: They collaborate closely withcross-functional teams, including marketing, development, andproduct management, to align digital design initiatives withbusiness requirements. They effectively communicate designconcepts, strategies, and recommendations to stakeholders includingC Suite management , gaining their buy-in andsupport.

    Performance Measurement and Improvement:They establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness andimpact of digital design initiatives.
