Visiting Faculty Position in Civil EngineeringThe Department of Civil Engineering (CVE) in the College of Engineering at American University of Sharjah (AUS) invites applications for a visiting faculty position at the assistant, associate, or full professor level commencing in Fall Semester 2024.

The visiting faculty positions are primarily focused on teaching and are one-year renewable contracts

Qualifications:

Education:
PhD in Civil Engineering/Construction Engineering/Construction Management or a closely related field

Experience:
Evidence of a significant teaching portfolio. Excellence in teaching and research, along with experience in the American model of higher education, are highly desirable.


Teaching Area:
Main focus on Construction Management/Construction Engineering.

The Department of Civil Engineering has approximately 140 undergraduate students, 60 graduate students, 15 full-time faculty, and 2 lab instructors.

The students and faculty come from diverse backgrounds and nationalities, with around 90 nationalities represented on campus.
