    LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a prominent manufacturing company on a Global Director of Accounting and Finance search. We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to lead the global accounting and finance team and work closely with leadership. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to drive financial performance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare the monthly financial reporting and consolidation.
    • Create monthly financial statements for review by the senior management team.
    • Enhance efficiency in global reporting activities.
    • Implement international accounting standards.
    • Provide financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
    • Oversee the monthly closing process on a global scale.
    • Manage global shared services activities.
    • Monitor fixed asset accounting for accuracy.
    • Ensure timely completion of account reconciliations.
    • Investigate technical US GAAP matters as needed.
    • Audit internal controls for adequacy and compliance
    • Lead specialized studies addressing critical areas for senior management.
    • Recommend enhancements to current accounting systems.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or MBA preferred.
    • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a global leadership capacity.
    • Prior experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry required.
    • Proven track record of driving financial performance, improving processes, and implementing financial systems.
    • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively to diverse audiences.
    • Strong leadership presence, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals in a matrixed organization.
