Quality Assurance Specialist (Dairy Manufacturing Industry)


Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Control and Compliance:
• Knowledge, Awareness of FSMS like HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, FSSC 22000, GMP, GFSI
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and standards for the entire dairy manufacturing process.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, food safety standards, and internal quality guidelines.
• Monitor and assess raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods to verify adherence to specifications and safety standards.

Inspection and Testing:

• Conduct regular inspections and product testing to identify any deviations from quality standards.
• Utilize various testing methods and equipment to measure factors such as taste, texture, color, and chemical composition.
• Collaborate with the laboratory team to analyze and interpret test results.

Process Improvement:

• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance product quality, increase efficiency, and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation of quality control activities, including inspection reports and test results.
• Prepare detailed reports for management, highlighting any quality issues and proposing appropriate solutions.

Supplier and Vendor Management:

• Evaluate and audit suppliers and vendors to ensure they meet the required quality standards.
• Work with the procurement team to address any quality concerns related to raw materials and packaging.

Training and Development:

• Conduct training sessions for employees on quality assurance protocols and best practices.
• Foster a culture of quality and compliance across the organization.

Non-Conformance and Corrective Actions:

• Investigate and document any nonconformance incidents and assist in implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

HACCP and Food Safety:

• Assist in the maintenance and improvement of the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) program to ensure food safety.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• Proven experience (X years) in quality assurance within the dairy manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of dairy manufacturing processes, including pasteurization, homogenization, and fermentation.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with acute attention to detail.
• Proficient in using quality control tools and techniques.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with crossfunctional teams.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of qualityrelated tasks.
• Quality certification(s) such as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Technician (CQT) is a plus.

Salary:
AED3, AED4,000.00 per month
