Description

Our Visual Merchandiser will provide great comprehensive design expertise and service using the full range of Homes R Us Furniture and home furnishings.

A VM will oversee the whole Showroom look and feel.

The successful VM will be a self-motivated and passionate individual who has an eye for color, design, analytics and home furnishings knowledge.

Successful execution is evidenced by creating dynamic visual displays on our showroom sales floor that generates interest from customers, timely flow of product from back stock to sales floor and maintenance of standards for showroom floors at all times.

Job Requirements

Executes visuallyappealing, wellbalanced store merchandise displays under the direction of the Visual Manager. Coordinates layout plans for furniture, lighting and accessories. Transitions seasonal products.
Remerchandises displays, signage, pointofsale and select areas regularly to maximize product sell through. Executes floor moves or any other necessary changes consistent with the layout plan and product focus. Communicates regularly with the Senior VM and Store Manager on what has sold.
Completes store recovery processes throughout the day. Maintains store interior and exterior appearance with the assistance of the other members of the Store. Initiates repair and maintenance of store lighting, fixtures, paint, flooring, etc.
Develops high levels of knowledge on all Homes R Us' products, promotions and store functions. Keeps up to date on the latest styles and trends.
Assists in new store openings, as needed.
Learns the furniture retail industry as a whole to establish a strong understanding of Homes R Us' products and their positioning in the marketplace, as well as the processes and procedures in how the business is operated.

Knowledge, Skills:

Knowledge of basic interior design.
Knowledge of basic visual merchandising and space planning.
Knowledge of fashion styles and trends.
Exceptional customer service, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Exceptional detailoriented, time management and organizational skills, with ability to multitask and meet demanding deadlines.
Good communication skills.
Other: friendly, enthusiastic and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.

Salary:
AED3, AED3,200.00 per month
