Our clienta leading medical facility is urgently looking for aRespiratoryTherapist / Techniciantto bebased in Abu Dhabi.

Inthis role you will have the responsibility to independently carryout all respiratory therapy interventions taking into considerationpatients best interest.

Otherresponsibilities willinclude:

• Performsrespiratory care procedures as per established policy andprocedures
  
• Assumesresponsibility for operating autonomously utilizing criticalthinking and problem solvingskills
  
• Monitorspatient responses and modifies therapies based onclinical/physiologic assessments and in consultation withphysician
  
• Readsand evaluates physicians orders. Applies mechanical ventilatorsupport of patients and monitors patientsresponse
  
• Modifiesventilator management to meet patient needs based on clinicalassessment physiologic monitoring and laboratory data and inconsultation with thephysician
  
• Participatesin the development and modification of respiratory care plans andtherapeutic goals for patients with cardiopulmonarydiseases
  
• Assiststhe physician and Code Team in cardiac / respiratory arrestsituations asrequest
  
• Providesadvanced emergency airway care according to approvedprotocol
  
• Assistswith pulmonary diagnostic procedures asrequired
  
• Providesusermaintenance and troubleshooting of Respiratory Careequipment
  
• Assessesand orders appropriate materials/equipment as per establishedguidelines.
  
• Highlightsany maintenance requirements or breakdowns to senior staff and isresponsible for ensuring the repair of defectedequipment
  
• Ensuresthat written and electronic records and activity data aremaintained in accordance with establishedguidelines.
  
• Experiencein Sleep Therapy is aMUST.

Requirements

Tobe considered for the role you need to meet thefollowing:

• Musthave at least 2 years of clinical practice in a rehab or tertiaryfacility
  
• Musthave a valid BLS and ACLS certificate preferably with PALScertificate
  
• Musthave passed HAAD licensing exam or have a valid UAElicense
  
• Willingto be based in AbuDhabi
  
• Willingto work 48 hours perweek
  
• Experiencein Sleep Therapy is aMUST.
