Job Description:


KEY RESPONSIBILITES

  • Responsible for preparations to do the shift, like preparing F&B working space and utensils, cleaning materials etc.
  • Taking food and drink orders from guests and being knowledgeable in doing so. Helping guests with their questions and choices.
  • Going to rooms or other outlets to take orders if required.
  • Next to order taking and serving guests do other tasks if required.
  • This role requires cleaning tasks during and at the end of the shift.
  • If necessary helping in other outlets.
  • Taking responsibility for own working space and equipment.
  • Make sure guests receive what they have ordered.
  • Do up and cross selling when taking orders.
  • Know the software in the F&B outlets to be able to put in the orders.
  • Keep good communication with kitchen and F&B staff about special requests, dietary information and changes in orders of guests.
  • Ensuring guest orders gets delivered to the rooms in a timely fashion.
  • Making sure working space and surfaces are clean.
  • Always stay friendly, courteous and professional with guests, associates and other departments.
  • Take feedback from guests and notifying management about it.
  • Share ideas for improvement.
  • Attend departmental meetings if necessary.

Desired Skill & Expertise:

  • A minimum of 2+ years experience is essential.
  • Preferably experienced in high volume F&B operations.
  • Maintains great customer service to all guests.
  • Planning and organising tasks, people and supplies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Quantified experience in food safety and hygiene.
  • Advanced customer service skills.
