    • Demonstrating a clearunderstanding of the Curriculum for effective implementation tomatch learning outcomes.
    • Teaching Music usingappropriate syllabus, materials, musical instruments, and schemesof work.
    • Organizing the classroom provision andlearning resources and creating displays to encourage a positiveand engaging learning environment.
    • Planning,preparing, and presenting sessions that cater to the needs of thewhole ability range within the class.
    • To planMusic lessons and sequences of lessons consistently andeffectively, in the long, medium and short-term, to meetpupils' individual learningneeds.
    • Creating a climate for learning that isconducive to delivering outstandingpractice.
    • Motivating students by deliveringenjoyable and creative co-curricular Music lessons that bothchallenges pupils and promotes love for Music and co-curricularactivities.
    • Lead co-curricular events(concerts, assemblies, musical/performing arts events) to developand promote students' achievement and participation inMusic.
    • Being reflective of the classroomprovision, sessions taught, progress made, and adjustingenvironment, planning and curriculum to reflectthis.
    • Supporting SEN (POD), EAL and G&Tstudents and ensuring that their needs are met throughdifferentiation.
    • Meeting with otherprofessionals such as speech and language therapists, occupationaltherapists, and educational psychologists, if required, to bestcater to diverse learning needs ofpupils.
    • Facilitating Hybrid / Distance Learning/ Face to Face lessons.

    Assessment anddata:

    • Taking responsibility for studentprogress of the class. Consistently and effectively making use ofdata relating to student's prior attainment to setwell-grounded expectations/targets for pupils, monitor theirprogress and to give clear and constructivefeedback.
    • Meeting requirements for assessmentsand recording students' development using TargetTracker.
    • Using data gathered from assessmentsto inform decisions regarding further planning, provision, andinterventions.
    • Providing feedback to parentsand carers on students' progress and development atParent Teacher conferences and meetings(PTMs).
