- Performduties according to the Duty Roster prepared by the ClusterSecurity Manager.
- To operate and monitor allsystems within the control room in an efficient manner ensuringthat all work is undertaken in compliance with security operatingprocedure legislation and code ofpractice/ethics.
- To liaise with the policeservice providers and internal concerned departments to ensure thatappropriate use of the system.
- To include allevidential records and witness statements to a standard acceptableto the rules of evidence.
- To record all eventsand actions taken in a clear legible and accurate writtenoccurrence book supported by the dedicated standardsformat.
- To provide an efficient and courteousradio and telephone answering service and deal efficiently with allenquires.
- To report equipment failure to thesecurity supervisor to maximize operation of thesystem.
- To maintain a secure system forproviding data in accordance with the regulations set up byDepartment of Protective Systems (Dubai Police) and to ensure thesecurity of the control room and equipment is alwaysmaintained.
- To maintain the provision ofinformation required by the cluster security manager and to assistthe monitoring of the CCTV system in accordance with DPSregulations and the continuity and admissibility of evidentialmaterial.
- To support cluster security managerand assistant security manager by providing monitoring of themaintenance agreements to ensure full provision of thesystem.
- To be aware of your responsibilities interms of health and safety including appropriate health and safetytraining.
- To ensure that you approach yourduties taking into consideration gentleservice.
- Assist in conducting investigationsand prepare accompanying investigation reports for cases whichoccur within the Hotel.
- Keep peace and orderwithin the premises of the Hotel in dealing with criminalstrespassers or difficult characters.
- Keep theManager of Security constantly posted on all matters of securityinterest affecting the Hotel and theDepartment.
- Conduct regular and periodicalchecks and take immediate followup action on all systems includingCCTV system.
- Attend meetings and inservicetraining conducted by the Department.
- The CCTVsystem operates 24 hours a day 365 days per year. As such the CCTVOperator will be required to operate on a shift basis to providefull cover for thescheme.
- Minimum2 years experience in a similar capacity in a 5starhotel.
- Knowledge of operation of the CCTVsystem.
- SIRA CCTV OperatorLicense.
- Computerliterate.
- Must be able to always maintainconfidentiality.
- Understanding and ability towork in a multicultural environment tactfully andeffectively
