JobResponsibilities

• Diagnose internal injuries anddiseases, and prescribe medication orsurgery;
• Order and analyse tests like X-rays,CT scans, and MRIs;
• Decide whether surgery iswarranted, based on the patient's records, tests, andexaminations;
• Perform examinations to confirmthat patients are strong enough to undergo surgery, explain theprocedures, and discuss the risksinvolved;
• Determine the type of surgery that isneeded, and the nurses, anesthesiologists, specialists, and otherswho will be required;
• Order antibiotics,special diets, sedatives, and other prescriptions for pre- andpost-operative treatment;
• Schedule operations,coordinate the staff, plan the procedures, and order instrumentsand other supplies;
• Perform operations, inaccordance with accepted methods;
• Create andupdate patient records;
• Consult with and assistother doctors;
• Refer patients to specialistsand other professionals
  
  

Requirements

JobSkills & Qualifications Required:

• Must hold a Doctor of Medicine andSpecialization degree
• Minimum 5 years ofResidency in general surgery
• Stable experiencein patient care and surgery
• Valid CountryLicense to practice
• Must be able to pass allrequired background checks
