    ProjectBrief:

    The Sr. Planning Engineerwill be responsible for supporting engineering team to deliver theprojects on schedule.

    He should ensure that theprojects schedule and deliveries are on time as per the scope andproject budget.

    The scope is to create andimplement plans that assist Engineering team to achieve theprojects schedules.

    JobDescription

    The candidate mustpossess expertise/experience in the followingdomains:

    Involve in planning and monitoring ofall activities within the Engineering projectsprograms.
    Assist in analyzing project specifications andfinding costeffective ways to achieve thedeliverables.
    Prepare the baseline program schedulesmilestones and deliverables as per project managementplan.
    Prepare full projects portfolio plan (80 plusprojects) in coordination with project managers andvendors.
    Analyzing technical drawings and providingdurations and milestones and overall project planaccordingly.
    Prepare look ahead plan for the executionteam.
    Generate and update progress report of the projectin a weekly or monthly basis.
    Able to do critical pathanalysis at project program and portfolio levels
    Prepareforecasted cash flow for projects and portfolio and report onactual Vs Planned spends and progress.
    Identifying theproject program risks and propose mitigationstrategies.
    Monitor the cash flow and tracking schedule ofthe project.
    Prepare forecasts resulting from significantdeviations from scheduled baselines.
    Tracking andanalyzing field results based on the planned progress and actualprogress.
    Determined and develop the most suitable methodsfor the projects.
    Involve throughout the development stageof the projects and present at site during construction phase tooversee procedures.
    Estimate a timescale for the projectsand ensure that the outlined deadlines are met.
    Excellentverbal communication and presentation skills.
    Analysis andReporting

    The candidate must meetthe following qualifications:
    bachelorsdegree in civil engineering or an equivalentdegree.
    Minimum 810 years experience in constructionfield.
    Fluent in English (Arabic isadvantage).
    Planning and project management skills andsoftware
    Strong technical knowledge.
    Strongproblemsolving skills
