Senior Wet Utilities Engineer - Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Worley

Description

• Prepare the wet utilities designfor a wide range of industrial infrastructure projects, includingproduction of technical reports, written calculations, designbriefs, specifications, drawings, schedules, contract documentationand the like.
• Responsible for ensuringtechnical quality, coordination, integrity and cost effectivenessof designs produced.
• Follow design guidelines,standards, and procedures to effectively execute assignedwork.
• Interface with other members of thedesign and management team on multiple discipline projectsincluding with the Global Delivery Centres whenrequired.
• Adhere to assigned budgets andschedules.
• Assist in the preparation oftechnical and commercial proposals.
• Checkcompliance with Quality, Safety and Environmentgoals.
• Quality Assurance –Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of theWorley Quality Management System.
• Safety– Responsible for personal safety and implementing safeworking practices.
• HSE – Understandand follow HSE procedures.
  

Job SpecificKnowledge

• Experienced in the design of wetutilities, including drainage, potable water, fire water, foulwater, etc..
• Experienced with British, Europeanand International standards and other constructionpractices.
• Experienced in a consultingengineering environment over the whole lifecycle of a projectincluding concept, FEED and DetailedDesign.
• Experienced in dealing with a varietyof clients including developers, government bodies and EPCContractors.
• Competent in the use of industrysoftware.
• Competent in the evaluation of thecondition of existing structures, including condition surveys andprojected maintenance programs.
