Description

• Assists in formulating andimplementing store strategies and procedures to maximizesales,
• profitability and commercial performanceof all retail outlets in the assigned cluster ofareas
• Sets KPI's and targets,monitors performance against plan and initiates remedial actions incase of discrepancy between actual and expectedperformance
• Generates and analyses salesfigures, forecasts future sales and interpret trends to facilitatearea operations planning
• Oversees the storesafter sales processes and ensures full adherence to repair/returnpolicies and procedures through proper communication with internalstakeholders
• Works with the area managers andstore management to ensure that store displays and inventory levelsare adequate to meet the forecast salesbudget
• Monitors stock to achieve bottom linesales budget against monthly targets
• Recommendsand implements actions required to address stores experiencingdecreasing sales
• Works closely with the LossPrevention to ensure that loss prevention programs are in placeacross all store locations
• Tours the salesfloor regularly, talks to colleagues and customers to help resolveurgent issues
• Maintains awareness of markettrends; understands changing customer attitudes and buyingpreferences and monitors the competition to ensure that salesopportunities are maximized
• Ensures that allrelevant communications are relayed in a timely manner to storemanagement
• Ensures that store schedules reflecta store staffing model that meets customerneeds
• Ensures that the team is adequatelytrained in inventory management techniques such as in-bound and outbound movement of goods, receiving, stocking, restocking, transfersand managing inventory discrepancies
• Maximizesproductivity in stores through effective deployment of resources;controls costs within budgetary guidelines (overtime, stock andconsumables) through efficient storeoperations
• Ensures all the stores are incompliance with all employment and state laws, health and safetystandards
• Looks at prospective sites andevaluates new sites and coordinates with the Property Department toshare inputs; oversees new store openings andre-fits
