    Description
    Assisting the Chief Accountant

    /Finance Manager


    in management information systems (MIS), financial policies, financial analysis & forecasting, local and for group reporting in order to improve business value within the ICRF framework of internal and business control to support Weber Business.

    Responsible for various accounting functions and tasks assigned from time to time with an objective of maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records Is this job for you ? Accounting:

    Accounting for Weber Plant. Assisting in control of accounting charter (General Ledger, Fixed assets, Cost Centre & other controls)


    Group & Local Reporting, MIS:


    Assist in Monthly Group reporting in compliance with all financial legislations as applicable to business reporting in co-ordination with the Delegation, Activity and Sector & accordance with Group policies and Accounting Standards.

    Preparation of monthly accounts (viz. P & L and Balance Sheet) in Preparation and analysis of Direct Cash Flow on monthly basis and recommending corrective actions to achieve the budgeted targets.


    Ensures the completion of month-end closing checklist and ensuring that all relevant tasks have been completed before the production of monthly MIS.


    To assist the Chief Accountant/Finance Manager in putting in place reporting discipline and efficiency enabling management reporting analysis and controls.


    To assist in analysis of Business KPIs to all stakeholders for discussions /improvements /control, particularly in the areas of Sales /Margin, Manufacturing cost and overhead control.

    Assisting in SIF (Financial Information System) reporting

    Management Assistance on SAP ERP to develop relevant controlling and analytical reports and support the Business with future developments in the system based on the operational and financial needs


    Budgeting & Forecasting:
    Assist in preparation of Annual budgets & forecasts in sync with laid down objectives for business & operations.

    Assist in preparation of long-range plan (LRP).


    Audit Support & Internal Control:


    Support internal and external audit through the dissemination of policies, procedures and monitoring of business controls as well as accounting policy.

    Assist in the preparation Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Balance Sheet Review (preparation of schedules and files)


    Banking & Treasury:
    Assist in Cashflow management – follow up on collection, transfer to DTA, supplier payments.

    Keeping abreast of developments & changes in group reporting, procedures and policies.


    Safety:
    To promote safety in work of area To make sure nothing is forgottenQualificationsCPA/ACCA/CA Inter qualified is a must.
