Description

As a Mechanical Engineer - Estimation, you will play a crucial role in our project estimation and engineering support processes. You will work closely with our sales team to provide accurate estimations and ensure that engineering documents are complete and consistent with project requirements. Your expertise will be essential in solving complex problems and contributing to the success of our projects.

• Utilize your knowledge of mechanical engineering principles to perform pipe-flow and sizing calculations.
• Operate AutoCAD software to create and manipulate drawings as needed for estimation and project support.
• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for estimation purposes.
• Ensure that drawings and engineering documents are accurate, complete, and aligned with project specifications.
• Collaborate with the sales team to determine target pricing and market strategies based on estimations.
• Generate specialized AutoCAD drawings and readings as required for specific projects.
• Create material submittals and related documentation to support project implementation.
• Assist the department head and management in tasks assigned to achieve departmental goals and company objectives.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Valid degree certificate to prove your educational background.
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience in the Oil & Gas industry, MEP, or Firefighting.
• Proficiency in pipe-flow calculation and basic AutoCAD operation.
• Strong skills in preparing estimation BOQ and drawing computation materials.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively communicate with the sales team.
• Problem-solving skills to address complex issues requiring specific expertise.
• Experience in creating specialized AutoCAD drawings and readings is a plus.
