An established Assest Finance company is seeking an entrepreneurial minded Business Development Manager with a strong financial history to assist in establishing their offices in Dubai.

MINIMUM REQUIRED
-
MUST resides in Dubai currently or have a strong. demonstratable network in Dubai from residing there recently

  • At least
    5 years sales experience with a documented successful track record in Business development & Sales management
  • 3+ years experience Governance, risk and business continuity
  • Business Management/Financial Management degree or equivalent NQF 7 qualification

ADVANTAGEOUS

  • Asset Financing or IT solutions in the relevant industries
  • Stratham Bryce: Sales 101 and 201

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Business Development

  • Well versed in probing skills, able to uncover NPG
- good listeners who listen to understand rather than just listen to respond
- explore the consequence of each solution/alternative
- established and quantified each consequence and provide effective and appropriate solutions to meet clients compelling need

  • Able to produce effective Executive Summaries
- politically savvy

  • Maintain an extensive network of internal and external contacts
  • Lead relationship building initiatives with Principal Vendors including playing the lead role in negotiations

Sales Management

  • Collaborate with executive and senior leadership across Business Units to initiate and integrate the design and development of new solutions to grow the business
  • Achievement of the annual revenue/sales target
  • Lead demandgenerating sales activities in the assigned market for the assigned product, service or solution
  • Convert sales opportunities to wins and invoice. Track billing and survey customer satisfaction

Governance, risk and business continuity

  • Manage business risk, through continuous internal and external monitoring of business impact, as well as changes in stakeholder needs
  • Lead and guide improvement projects that will increase profits or protect against risks in the function
  • Establish and maintain the highest ethical standards in operations practices
  • Stay up to date of new trends and innovations in operations

External parties and relationship management

  • Oversee relationship with service providers and partners and ensure all the services are delivered properly, evaluate the performance of consultants and report any deviations to the relevant department for any corrective actions
