- Essential Duties andResponsibilities
- All audit engagements exceptIT audits are delivered to quality, on time and withinbudgets.
- Additional responsibilities assignedare completed to quality and time.
- Develop anddefine Audit Scope and timelines for audit and consultingassignments,
- Plan and perform audits such asoperational, financial, and complianceaudits.
- Review audit findings and developaction plans.
- Participate in audit meetings andcoordinate internal and external auditactivities.
- Evaluate financial documents foraccuracy and compliance with federalregulations.
- Identify the financial risk of theorganization and offer recommendations to reducerisk.
- Identify accounting and financialrecord-keeping processes that can beimproved.
- Determine ways to cut costs andimprove profitability.
- Assess the efficiencyand productivity of internal staff and make recommendations forimprovement.
- Present findings to uppermanagement in the form of reports andpresentations.
- Document processes and prepareaudit findings memorandum.
- Conduct follow-upaudits to monitor management'sinterventions.
- Engage in continuous knowledgedevelopment regarding sector's rules, regulations, bestpractices, tools, techniques, and performancestandard.
