Duties and Responsibilities:
-

  • Monitor incidents of injury, and illness, and design potential strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Assess risks associated with tools and equipment, jobsites, and work environments.
  • Prepares and maintains inspection records and produces reports that suggest improvements.
  • Initiates and organizes safety awareness campaigns, including occupational safety workshops and training sessions, to ensure that students and staff observe established safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Initiates and conducts emergency evacuation drills.
  • Carries out regular safety and security inspections of various facilities, systems, and equipment, including firstaid rooms, construction areas, electrical systems, fire extinguishers and fire hydrants to ensure compliance with international standards.
**Qualifications:
- *
  • A bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • Certification in occupational health and safety, SIRA, or Nebosh/IOSH
**Skills:
- *
  • A minimum 2 years of experience in a role related to health and safety, preferably in an educational environment.
  • Knowledge of Fire and Safety systems and equipment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated competency to interact with people at all levels of the organization.

Salary:
Up to AED1,500.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
