    Description

    sponsibilities

    • Prepare FEED and detailed engineeringdrawings of onshore oil / gas flowlines, trunk lines andpipelines
    • Read, review, and apply SiteTopographical Survey drawings and data
    • Performor supervise preparation of Pipeline Design Basis, Specifications,Mechanical Design, Material Requisitions, Material Take Off (MTO),Population Density / Area ClassificationStudies.
    • Review and provide engineering input /guidance for Overall Routing Maps and Layouts, Plot Plans, PipelineAlignment sheets, LUP (Land Used Permission), and Typicaldrawings
    • Provide quality control checks of allpipeline engineering documents anddrawings
    • Familiar with the relevantInternational Standards, especially with ASME B31.4 and ASMEB31.8
    • Carry out study and design work usingWood and Client design methods, standards and data, to a highquality and in accordance with projectrequirements
    • Ensure that Wood andClient's Health and Safety, Environmental and QualityManagement Procedures are complied with
    • Ensurethat all the produced deliverables are complied with QA / QC andISO System requirements of Wood
    • Provideassistance to other disciplines and participate in review meetingsin accordance with projectrequirements
    • Participate in and advice on alldesign activities and initiatives, including provision of training,inductions and documentation review
    • Verify thatthe work is completed to the agreed schedule

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree in MechanicalEngineering from an accredited university with minimum 15 yearsrelevant experience in the oil / gasindustry
    • Must have been in PMC organisation forat least 3 years in similar position
    • Fullyfamiliar with international codes, standards and recommendedpractices to be adopted during FEED and EPC phases of oil / gasprojects
    • Must have the capacity to superviseand manage FEED engineer and development of FEEDdeliverables
    • Proven track record in pipelinesFEED and detailed design experience
    • Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint isrequired
    • Experience in the use of pipelinedesign software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Google Earth Pro Maps,CAESAR II) is advantageous
    • Familiar with therelevant International Standards
    • Candidateslocated in UAE are preferred
