    About the Role:


    As Ecommerce Manager, you will be responsible for managing the full profit and loss (P&L) for the commerce platforms within the GMG Sports division.

    You will lead a team of Category Managers and Assistant Category Managers.

    Your primary objective will be to drive the growth and success of your designated ecommerce businesses, ensuring alignment with our overall digital and omnichannel strategies.

    You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including buying & merch, growth, marketing, operations, technology, and finance, to achieve revenue and profitability goals.


    Core Responsibilities:

    Strategy and Planning:
    Develop and implement the ecommerce strategy in alignment with the overall organizational goals and objectives.
    Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the ecommerce space.

    Create and execute strategic plans for your respective ecommerce brandDrive the day to day trading operations on our ecommerce websites and appsFinancial Performance:

    Oversee the full P&L of the ecommerce brands, monitor financial performance, and take proactive measures to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

    Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify areas for growth and profitability improvement.
    Develop and manage budgets, forecasting revenue and expenses accurately.


    Team Leadership and Management:
    Build, lead, and motivate a high-performing ecommerce team, providing clear direction and setting performance expectations.
    Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging professional development and growth opportunities for team members.


    Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Collaborate closely with creative teams to develop effective campaignsPartner with category managers and merchandising teams to ensure effective product assortment, pricing strategies, and inventory managementData Analysis and Reporting: Utilize analytics tools and platforms to gather insights, measure performance, and track key metrics, such as conversion rates, average order value, GPV, UPTGenerate regular reports and dashboards to provide visibility into ecommerce performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement

    People Management:
    Develop relationship with the product team, marketing team, CRM teams and Customer Service teams to achieve targets


    Functional / Technical Competencies:
    Experience in driving growth for ecommerce businesses Strong understanding of ecommerce web and app platforms


    Can do attitude and change mindset Ability to motivate and develop a team Customer obsessed with a drive towards excellence Experience:4+ years in a similar e commerce role.

    Proven experience in managing multiple ecommerce brands and driving their P&L performance.
