Our client is a Dubai-based shipping company, that specializes in transportation, logistics, and supply chain is looking for a
Tax
Accountant to join their team in Dubai.

Experience:

6 Years

Office Location:
Jafza, Dubai

Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance.

Experience in Tax, Excise duty, Imports, Exports, customs and general accountancy is mandatory:

Ensure compliance with applicable standards rules, regulations, and systems of internal control.
Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines
Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information.
Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes.
Assist with and act as the primary pointofpoint of contact requests.
Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

4-6 years of accounting/finance experience ideally in Trading & Logistics:

Good knowledge in the VAT, Excise, Imports, Exports and customs:
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Experience with accounting software
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization.
Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation
Highly detailoriented

Salary:
AED6, AED9,000.00 per month
