General Overview:


Our client, a well-established Insurtech broker is looking to hire a Business Development Manager to drive the growth of their Travel Insurance portfolio.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop prospective pipeline of opportunities (travel B2B), convert and deliver new sales revenue budget.
  • Maintain existing relationships, ensuring always that we deliver to the distribution partner, providing the required level of account management service to retain and grow partnerships and deliver the budget.
  • Increase the market awareness of the company and identify and explore new distribution channels and profitable revenue.
  • Endtoend account management; the key point of contact, training, relationship management, problemsolving.
  • Maintain and grow, create sticky relationships through demonstrable value.
  • Identify new areas for growth and ensure our propositions are relevant and meaningful in the market i.e. we deliver things that the trade wants to buy.

Requirements:


Skills & Experience:


  • Demonstrable success, ideally in a similar sales role within the travel/travel insurance sector.
  • Ability to be creative, think through commercial challenges and make recommendations/execute.
  • Professional English and Hindi & excellent presentation skills.
  • Solid travel trade network/relationships.
  • Experience in selling ancillary revenuetype products.
  • Hunger, energy, motivated by numbers and success.
  • Team player, selfish in delivering his/her own numbers, while being an active team member and contributing to the overall success of others and therefore the business.
- "People person", ability to quickly build relationships and sustain.

  • Delivers and executes in a controlled way.
- "Gets" technology and understands the value of its use to drive distribution.
