Job Description
The Credit Analyst evaluates the creditworthiness of individuals or organizations applying for loans or credit. They review financial records, analyze credit data, and make recommendations on loan approvals or rejections. The Credit Analyst also monitors loan portfolios and assesses risks to minimize potential losses.
Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, credit history, and credit reports.
• Evaluate creditworthiness and determine loan approval or rejection.
• Develop credit scoring models to assess risk.
• Prepare loan proposals and recommendations for credit committees.
• Monitor loan portfolios and assess potential risks.
• Conduct regular reviews of borrower financials and credit facilities.
• Collaborate with loan officers and clients to gather necessary information.
• Identify and manage credit risk exposure.
• Provide recommendations on loan restructuring or collection procedures.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in credit regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience in credit analysis.
• Strong knowledge of credit assessment methods and procedures.
• Proficient in financial analysis software and MS Office suite.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
