    • Architecture M/FContract TypePermanent contractBusiness Line Specific ContextAs an overseer, your main responsibility will be to ensure the successful design development and delivery of designs while keeping track of project health.
    You will manage project resources and teams, including large projects or specific areas of large projects.

    This will involve leading the team through regular meetings with the client, meetings to address specific issues, team meetings, and meetings with specific departments.

    Job DescriptionYou will be accountable for managing people-related issues within your team, communication, and liaising with the project control and management team (PC/PM) in developing a weekly or monthly project dashboard, design management plan, project execution, progress reports, and resource cost report to ensure timely execution of the project and to minimize variance.

    You will need to provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports to anticipate and resolve any problems, bottlenecks, and scheduling conflicts to achieve on-time or earlier deliveries to keep the project on schedule.

    You will ensure delivery of projects within the contracted duration and agreed budget through regular meetings and monitor performance and expenditure vis-a-vis the plan.

    You will also be required to liaise with the client's senior management and troubleshoot any areas of conflict between the project management team and the client to ensure a smooth and continuing working relationship.

    Your leadership and direction during project execution will maintain ongoing relationships between the sub-consultants, intercompany, PM, and client. You will ensure that the business dealings with clients' subcontractors and vendors are conducted to a high professional standard.
    You will be responsible for the implementation of the company's quality management process to deliver the project. You are expected to raise quality awareness in every sphere of project activity and in the organization.

    Manage quality through monthly QAQC reviews, and ensure that non-conformances are rectified and measures taken to ensure that they do not occur again.

    You will also be expected to participate in half-yearly audits.
    Career planning, mentoring, and proposing members for promotions are also crucial.

    Promoting teamwork and a spirit of cooperation among employees is important, and you will guide the design team to achieve project goals, drive and motivate the design team, and develop team members who have the potential to move to senior positions.

    Guide architects, senior architects, and design managers in achieving KPIs, quality objectives, and performance review.

    Lastly, you will be responsible for timely intimation to the accounts team for invoicing and liaise with the accounts team for timely collection.

    You will carry out any other duties as and when requested by the Project Director/Directors in the execution strategy in line with the contract provisions.
