    One of our clients in Sharjah that engages in the purchase and sale of new and pre-owned cars is currently seeking a Assistant Operations Manager to join their team.

    Job description:

    • Developing strategies, policies, and general plans related to logistics services.
    • Build and maintain professional relationships with relevant external stakeholders
    • Work with carriers to negotiate rates, and shipping lines, and resolve any issues that may arise during the shipping process.
    • Keeping shipping operations within budget without compromising speed or efficiency.
    • Identify shipping & Dispatch issues and implement solutions promptly
    • Oversee the whole shipping & Dispatch process.
    • Set shipping & Dispatch KPIs
    • Hiring, training, and supervising shipping & Dispatch employees.
    • Supervise and oversee operations team members and solving their issues
    • Monitor the performance of the operations department and employees to achieve the required goals.
    • Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies.
    • Evaluate new technologies to streamline supply chain operations.
    • Monitor and analyze the financial performance of the company's operations.
    • Develop and implement plans to improve efficiency and reduce costs in operations.
    • Ocean shipping experience is a must.
