- Developing strategies, policies, and general plans related to logistics services.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with relevant external stakeholders
- Work with carriers to negotiate rates, and shipping lines, and resolve any issues that may arise during the shipping process.
- Keeping shipping operations within budget without compromising speed or efficiency.
- Identify shipping & Dispatch issues and implement solutions promptly
- Oversee the whole shipping & Dispatch process.
- Set shipping & Dispatch KPIs
- Hiring, training, and supervising shipping & Dispatch employees.
- Supervise and oversee operations team members and solving their issues
- Monitor the performance of the operations department and employees to achieve the required goals.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies.
- Evaluate new technologies to streamline supply chain operations.
- Monitor and analyze the financial performance of the company's operations.
- Develop and implement plans to improve efficiency and reduce costs in operations.
- Ocean shipping experience is a must.
