- Preparereview and update construction plans and drawings for marineconstruction projects.
- Perform detailedengineering analyses including structural geotechnical andhydraulic calculations relevant to marineenvironments.
- Coordinate with project managerssite engineers and consultants to ensure the accuracy andfeasibility of designs and plans.
- Developproject specifications schedules and budgets ensuring compliancewith industry standards and regulations.
- Liaisewith clients contractors and suppliers providing technical supportand ensuring all materials and work conform to projectspecifications.
- Utilize CAD software and otherengineering tools to create effective designsolutions.
- Assist in the preparation of tenderdocuments including bills of quantities and technicalproposals.
- Monitor project progress againstplans identifying deviations and recommending correctiveactions.
- Stay abreast of advancements in marineconstruction technology and methods incorporating best practicesinto projectwork.
- Bachelorsdegree in Civil Engineering Coastal Engineering or a relatedfield.
- A minimum of 8 years experience in themarine construction industry with a proven track record ofsuccessful project involvement.
- Strongproficiency in CAD software and engineering designtools.
- Indepth understanding of marineconstruction materials methods andequipment.
- Excellent analytical problemsolvingand organizational skills.
- Willingness totravel to project sites asneeded.
